Little Downham Recreation Area was purchased by the Parish Council in the early 1960s and is situated at the end of the School Lane. The area consists of a recreation field, BMX dirt track, play area, all weather court, basketball court, youth shelter and a pavillion. It is open to the public 24 hours a day and has four public footpaths in and around it. The recreation field has a cricket pitch and three football pitches. 
We also have a recreation ground in Pymoor which is situated around 3 miles from Little Downham Village which also has a children's play area close by.
